Dolls

One of a kind cloth dolls.
Doll: Ivy Rose
Doll: Ivy Rose

- Ivy Rose was my very first doll. I took a class from Kandy Scott in 2003. I am hooked!! The pattern is a Patty Culea pattern. Her legs have the best curves. Ivy's chair is made from Polymer clay baked over a foil base.
Dolls: Ruby
Dolls: Ruby

- Ruby is my second doll. Her head was so perfect I couldn't bring myself to put hair on her. She is classy.
She has wood bead elbows, wrists and knees. Her legs are silk velvet and arms are a peach satin. Her Tunic, shoes and hat are hand stitched.
She is a modified Patty Culea pattern from her book: Creative Cloth Dolls. What a wonderful book!

Doll: Nancie's doll
Doll: Nancie's doll

- This is my 3rd doll. Hers were my first boobs! I am giving her to my friend, Nancie, for Christmas 2005. Nancie will put clothes on her, since I can't decide what to do.
Dolls: Nola and the Knot Fairies
Dolls: Nola and the Knot Fairies

- Nola and the Knot Fairies is a doll that shows those elusive little creatures: the Knot Fairies. Who will tie a knot in your thread when you just glance away.

Nola won a blue ribbon the Pima County Fair in Tucson Arizona, April 2006. She also won a blue ribbon and Reserve Champion at the Jackson County Fair in Medford Oregon, July 2006.
She goes on to the Arizona State Fair soon.
She is my 5th completed doll.
Doll: Barefoot Contessa
Doll: Barefoot Contessa

- Here is the Barefoot Contessa. She is a woman of class. She is completely comfortable in her own skin and not afraid to show it!

She is my 6th completed doll. I am looking for a challenge to enter her into, any suggestions?
Doll: No Toes Betty
Doll: No Toes Betty

- Meet "No Toes Betty". She has been entered in the Gypsies of the Sea Challenge at the International Quilt Show in Houston, Texas. I will know in November if she is staying or coming home. I'll let you know.

Betty is sequined, beaded and embellished with 14 ct gold beads. She is trying to entice a pirate to her chest...of treasures.
